I know that subconsciously, we all have that casino where we run poorly. I know I’m not the only one. Right?
Mine, unfortunately, is my f**king favorite casino (which sucks). It’s the Wynn Casino. It's the nicest poker room, the friendliest staff, and the WPT is there for a month. And I run like shit there. Ugh!
I recently found out something about the Wynn. I'm not blaming it on my run bad. But it's f**king weird.
I just thought I should warn everyone. This is a true story.
Anti feng shui
Mr. Steve Wynn hired a feng shui master to come into his casino while it was being built. The master suggested chandeliers above the walkways of the entire casino. I swear. Just look up.
Did you know that it's bad luck to walk under a chandelier in feng shui?
Guess what? A giant f**king chandelier is right in the center of the main poker room. You can’t avoid it. You are kind of f**ked either way.
If you’re in the high roller room (I’m not a high roller, but I do use their bathrooms), there is a f**king chandelier covering every square inch. That’s mind-boggling.
I don't even knock him for this. He’s a f**king genius.
Once I figured this out, I felt so cheated. But then I was like, “Well, I really have no excuse because the WPT is in the convention area."
I swear I'm not blaming the chandeliers on my bad luck. I’m just watching out for you guys.
