In an interview last week, Daniel Negreanu teased some “life-changing” news that would be revealed in one of his early WSOP vlogs.
Today, he revealed alongside his wife Amanda that the couple are expecting a baby boy.
"We have an awesome surrogate who's killing it," Negreanu says. "We're expecting a late November baby."
"We've been trying for a long time," Amanda says. "I can't do it, but she's going to do it."
"This is going to be the best Christmas," she adds. "It's my favorite time of the year, and now there's going to be a baby."

Could Negreanu get some early baby run good?
Meanwhile, Negreanu has already been putting in the hours at the 2026 World Series of Poker.
He late-regged the $5K 8-Handed NLH event and quickly built a top-10 stack before busting just before the bubble. His exit came after losing a big pot with pocket aces when Ryuta Nakai flopped a set of tens.
He's got a choice of different events to play today, including Day 1 of the $5K 8-Handed PLO, one of his favorite formats. There's also another Day 1 flight of the $550 Mini Mystery Millions, a low buy-in event that boasts a $1 million top bounty prize.
The $1,500 Seven Card Stud also kicks off today.
Wherever he sits, Negreanu will be hoping his baby run good kicks in early.
