The two-week PokerGO Tour offseason will come crashing to a halt on Monday when the game's best players return to Las Vegas to jump start the 2026 poker year at the PGT Kickoff series.

Six events populate the schedule from January 26-31 with double PGT points and buy-ins from $5,300-$10,500, setting the early winners on the road to the top 40 and a seat at the season-ending PGT Championship.

Last year's opening series featured wins from Andrew Lichtenberger, Patrick Leonard, and Kristen Foxen, all of whom would qualify for a shot at the $1,000,000 freeroll to close out the year. David Coleman, who also had a seat at this year's freeroll, started off his 2024 GPI Player of the Year campaign with two wins in the PokerGO Studio.

Road to PGT Championship starts Monday

The action is fast and unforgiving in all six events, with 30-minute blinds and a Day 1 that plays down to a final table of six for a livestream on the following day. Event #6, a $10K Turbo, will play out all on the same day. The full schedule:

  • Monday, January 26: $5,300 NLH
  • Tuesday, January 27: $5,300 NLH
  • Wednesday, January 28: $5,300 NLH
  • Thursday, January 29: $5,300 NLH
  • Friday, January 30: $10,500 NLH
  • Saturday, January 31: $10,500 Single-Day NLH

PGT's Kickoff series will be followed in short order by the PGT Mixed Games series, running from February 3-11. And it would be a waste to get that many mixed games players together without a big buy-in, so the Super High Roller Bowl: Mixed Games will feature a $100K on Feb. 12. They'll take a short break for other endeavors and return in March for the PokerGO Cup from March 1-15 and PGT PLO Series at Venetian from March 20-29.
