Tomorrow, livestream coverage of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) begins – kicking off a summer-long sprint to the Main Event finale.

It all starts with one of the summer’s marquee events, the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, which will be streamed from Day 1.

PokerOrg spoke exclusively with WSOP Global Broadcast Talent Jeff Platt about what viewers can expect this summer – and during opening week in particular.

"We're going to treat every day like it's the World Series of Poker Main Event," Platt says. "So, we're going to have multiple feature tables. We're going to have a cluster zone of tables that will be heavily featured. We're going to have a camera crew that can go out anywhere, whether it's in Paris or in Horseshoe."

It's all about the bracelets, and you can watch all the action on the official livestream from Friday. It's all about the bracelets, and you can watch all the action on the official livestream from Friday.

Platt: We're going to go crazy

Platt outlined the first wave of events set to headline livestream coverage.

The $25K Heads-Up Championship – one of the most-anticipated events of the summer – will take center stage through the first four days.

So far, 33 players have registered for tomorrow’s Flight A, including Daniel Negreanu, Michael Mizrachi, Adrian Mateos, Alex Foxen, Jesse Lonis, Viktor Blom, Patrick Leonard, Michael Moncek, and Shaun Deeb.

With registration still open, the 64-player bracket is expected to fill with even more elite names.

Coverage will then shift to the $10,000 GGMillion$ event before moving to the $25,000 High Roller.

Smaller buy-in events are going to get the full livestream treatment as well.

"We do have plans for not only the high rollers, but also the Millionaire Maker and the Monster Stack," Platt says. "We're going to blow it out. We're going to go crazy as far as coverage is concerned."

Friday’s launch will also mark the debut of the revamped WSOP livestream set, with fans finally getting their first look inside the new Thunderdome.
