How should players prep for the summer WSOP?

Getting ready for the WSOP is all about balance. You’ve got to keep up with your physical health, get regular light workouts, eat right, and get plenty of sleep. On the mental side, you have to keep your skills sharp. It’s best to review past hands you have played, stay on top of what the best players are doing, and maybe squeeze in some meditation to keep your head clear

And most importantly, don’t forget to plan out your days. The schedule can get crazy, and you want to ensure you’re not running out of energy.

What is your favorite WSOP event and the biggest one you will play?

Honestly, I’m still up in the air about which High Roller event I’ll jump into—there are a few to choose from, and it really depends on how long I stay in Vegas.

But the Main Event? That’s my favorite, hands down. It’s the big one, right? Everyone from absolute beginners to serious pros is there. It’s just this amazing mix of people all shooting for the same dream. Plus, nothing beats the vibe of playing in the Main Event—it’s like the whole world of poker comes together. It's super fun and super intense.

What's your favorite WSOP moment?

The best moment for me at the WSOP was taking down the $100k High Roller One Drop back in 2016. That win was huge for me—it wasn’t just about the money, but it was like a sign that all my hard work had paid off. It felt amazing to get that kind of nod from the poker world, and the whole vibe that summer was just incredible. Celebrating that win in Vegas was definitely a high point I’ll always remember.
