This Sunday, June 8, eligible players in three PokerStars North American markets will be able to take part in the first women-only online tournament in the region, with packages for the North American Poker Tour’s (NAPT) forthcoming Women’s Event to be won.

Female players in Ontario, Pennsylvania and Michigan can register for the Summer Stacks Women’s Sunday event at 8pm ET, which will have a buy-in of $30.

Six packages to be won across three regions

Running in each of the three North American markets simultaneously, each region’s tournament will award both the winner and runner-up with a package to play the live NAPT Women’s Event this November in Las Vegas.

Entry to the live event, which will form part of the NAPT Festival at Resorts World Las Vegas, is $330. Each package awarded in the online event will total $600, allowing winning players to spend up to $270 on travel and expenses in addition to their seat in the live tournament.

Sunday’s online Women’s event forms part of PokerStars' Summer Stacks series, which includes a variety of new formats and old favorites such as mystery bounty tournaments, phased events and the Red Spade Rumble.

If you’re in Ontario, Pennsylvania or Michigan, check the PokerStars client for the full tournament schedule.
