The final 48 players are set for Day 4 of the Asian Poker Tour Main Event in Incheon, South Korea — setting up a mad dash to the final table on Friday.
Day 3 started with just 191 players left from the original 1,281 entries, a record-breaking field for APT in South Korea. The big crowd pushed the prize pool to KRW 2,766,660,000 (~$2M), with this weekend's winner taking home $349K in American dollars.
APT regular on top
Rishi Mehra, an APT mainstay, is the chip leader after Day 3. He sports a long list of cashes on tour, most notably a first-place finish in the High Roller Last Chance at the Manila stop in 2024 and a runner-up finish in the High Roller 8-Max at the APT Taipei Poker Classic at the Taipei stop that same year for a career-high score of just over $100K.
Also among the other Main Event stories was a deep run by American poker vlogger and PokerOrg Friend of the Show Frankie C. His day came to an end on Thursday in 100th place, good for around 5 million KRW (~$3,600). Meanwhile, former APT exec Lloyd Fontillas is still in the hunt with his first APT cash.
The final 48 will return at 11:15am local time (KST) on Friday, and you can catch the livestream on the APT YouTube channel.
