Nik 'Airball' Arcot has once again earned himself a feature on PokerOrg's Hand of the Week, albeit for the wrong reasons this time around. On Hustler Casino Live's most recent $100/$200 High Stakes Friday game, Arcot clashed with Henry Guttman in a hand that had it all – above-the-rim play, tilt, and an end result that one of the two requesting a $1M add-on.
And it didn't end there as the first hand lead to two more big-money battles between the two – one of which featured a six-bet pot.
You can check out all three hands right now in the video above.
'Not today!'
After raising to $1,000 with , Guttman called Arcot's three-bet to $3,000 and watched on as the dealer spread the
flop. Arcot continued for $2,000 – having flopped top pair with his
– and Guttman called instantly. On the
turn, Arcot bet $10,000 into the $10,900 in the middle and, once again, Guttman made the call.
With $30,900 in the pot, the river didn't scare Arcot in the slightest as he bet $45,000. Guttman had $113,100 remaining in his stack and, after a moment or two of consideration, sent the rest of his money into the middle. Arcot may not have been scared of the river, but he certainly didn't like the all-in move from his opponent and was visibly pained by the decision.
"What the f**k?" Airball murmured as he reached for his drink. "I was value betting."
After getting a quick count from the dealer to determine how much he had to call –$68,100 more – Arcot went into the tank.
"This should never be a bluff and yet it is," said David Tuchman from the commentary booth. "This is so sick from Henry."
Arcot, a typically quick-to-act player, took the better part of six minutes to come to a decision.
"I guess you just wouldn't bluff, right?" Arcot said before returning his cards to the dealer.
As soon as Arcot's hand hit the muck, a Cheshire Cat-esque smile spread across Guttman's face.
"I want to see both cards," Arcot said as Guttman exposed one of his fives. When the other hit the felt, Arcot couldn't believe his eyes.
"Not today, guys!" Guttman exclaimed. "Not today!"
"Give me a million," came the reply from Arcot.
