Shane Bissinger won his second Moneymaker Tour trophy after a heads-up battle with David Moses in the $1,500 Main Event in Cincinnati on Monday.
Bissinger, who took down a High Roller event at last year's Moneymaker stop in Cincy, beat 347 entries to win $93,000. It offered four flights and a $500K guarantee at the Hard Rock Casino near the banks of the Ohio River.
'I get the guitar'
The champ parlayed a Day 1D chip lead into the victory on Monday after he played his way to the final table on Day 2. Monday's final nine also included Luther Tran, Ronnie Day, Michael Scoborough, JB Wells, Dustin Pierce, Derek Hammonds, and George J. Lusby.
"This one's special because it's a Main Event. The other one was a High Roller," Bissinger told us after the win.
The victory also comes with a second trophy — the coveted Hard Rock Casino guitar.
"I get the guitar. It feels good. It makes me think that I'm going in the right direction."
Off to Aruba
The Moneymaker Tour will now pack its trunks for a trip to Aruba, where four days of poker and sun await players, along with a $1,700 Main Event. Our very own Tiffany Michelle will be along for the ride, so keep an eye on PokerOrg for the sights and sounds.
