Daniel Negreanu has turned his 2026 WSOP around in spectacular fashion.

After a slow start to the series that saw him fall into an early $500,000 hole, Negreanu managed to turn things around with a big win in the $100K Pot-Limit Omaha

Negreanu's $2,257,718 victory erased his early losses and earned him his eighth World Series of Poker bracelet.

Away from the tables, his $25K Fantasy squad has been hard at work cobbling together enough points to top the 24-team leaderboard.

Team DNegs now leads by more than 200 points. With only five events remaining, Negreanu is all but certain to win his own fantasy league for the first time.

And yet, in his latest vlog from the summer series, Negreanu is on major tilt after a premature end to his deep run in the $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E. – and the target of his ire turned out to be fellow Canadian Mike Leah.

Both Negreanu and Leah had big stacks while running deep, but neither of them made the money, and Negreanu blamed Leah's willingness to keep building pots for both of their exits.

"Alright, pretty tilty development in Stud 8. We're down to 32K – had 600[K]," Negreanu said to his camera. "One guy – lovely gentleman, absolutely lovely gentleman – is literally my least favorite person in the world to play a tournament with because he will burn chips infinitely.

"So, you're supposed to lose like three bets, but he will make sure that you lose seven or eight because he won't stop raising in these dumb spots."

Shortly after his initial rant, Negreanu was eliminated from contention – and picked up right where he left off.

"This guy's busted, of course, the guy that was sitting right here," Negreanu said, pointing to an empty seat. "He had a zillion chips, burned up all mine and now we're both [out]. So tilting."

Negreanu then took a moment to share his frustration with Shaun Deeb before eventually calming down and jumping into the action in the $5,000 8-Handed NLH.

"Alright, we're somewhat calm now," he shared. "But that's for sure, oddly enough, the most tilted I've been the entire summer.

"He's a lovely guy, like I said, but I hate playing with him."
