How should players prepare for a long summer at the WSOP?
Get into both the mental and physical schedule of it all; don't wait until you play your first event to play tourney poker again.
Get on a sleep and diet schedule for the grind, plan your snacks and hydration support, and have all you need with you for the long-haul potential of these events.
You ate blueberries during your Main Event win... What diet tips have you got?
It's very personal to each player. Some people need certain things to maintain focus and blood sugar levels, others are different. Overall, just prepare properly and don't ever eat a huge meal on the dinner break. I've seen that cause big losses during the next level of play.
How should players navigate these huge fields?
Focus on your table and that energy and flow. Don't think about the field size or care about others stacks around the room. It's just you versus the clock and blinds, especially in the early stages.
What's the most memorable moment from your Main Event win?
My most memorable moment was seeing how excited my mom was and then getting to call my dad, who couldn't make it onto the hospital plane to come be with us.
