Joe McKeehen picks up third WSOP bracelet

The regular WSOP fixture turns up the pressure to secure his latest victory

The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Series continues with its scheduled events and one of the latest was the $3,200 No-Limit Hold’em high roller tournament. This was a hot event that registered a total of 469 entries to lock a prize pool of $1,507,840 that was distributed among the top 63 finishers. The winner of the event is no stranger to gold bracelets, as this was the third one in his career history. Joe McKeehen ruled the table and took home the top prize of $352,985.

McKeehen’s previous WSOP victories were also massive, with the first one being an event that registered 6,420 players where he won $7,683,346 and the title of world champion. Two years later, McKeehen got his second bracelet by winning the $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship and the top prize of $311,817. With his latest victory, the 2015 WSOP main event champion just became the 104th player in all poker history to win three or more bracelets.

The WSOP Online Series continues breaking records and, so far, the $3,200 No-Limit Hold’em high roller event has registered the biggest prize pool. The event attracted 368 unique players who collectively re-entered a total of 128 times. The minimum amount to win for those who finished in the money was $6,031. Frank ‘thewholefunk’ Funaro finished second winning $219,089 and Roland ‘prngls12’ Israelashvili finished third and won $148,975.

There were some great players making their run in this event who did not make it to the final table. Maria ‘bluerat’ Konnikova finished 56th, Ryan ‘joeyisamush’ Depaulo finished 16th and Daniel ‘centrfieldr’ Lupo finished 58th.
