Katie Lindsay has a new career-best win of $102,915 - plus a supersized trophy and a championship ring - after winning the Moneymaker Tour Aruba Main Event on Sunday.

The $1,500 Main Event drew a total of 325 entries, blowing past the $200K guarantee to create a prize pool of $438,750.

PokerOrg was down in the Caribbean at the time - it’s a tough job sometimes - and managed to catch up with Lindsay at the start of the final table.

“Energy is really high,” Lindsay told us, “and that, to me, makes a tournament fun. Obviously I want to win, but I like to have a good time, and being in such a beautiful location makes it even better.”

The fun continued as Lindsay, a former poker players’ agent turned pro, hit the final table tied for the second largest stack and managed to bring it all the way home, defeating Canada’s Duff Charette heads-up for the title.

Duff Charette won $63K for his runner-up finish. By Omar Sader Duff Charette won $63K for his runner-up finish.

ACR ambassador Lindsay’s win in Aruba pushes her recorded tournament earnings over $875K and marks her first six-figure score, with her previous best result coming in a $10K Wynn Millions event in 2022. It’s her second win in the Caribbean, following a $50K victory aboard a Royal Caribbean poker cruise in 2015, and brings her a second winner’s ring to go with the WSOP-C ring she won online in 2022.
