It's Christmas come early for fans of deep-stacked, nosebleed cash games.

Hustler Casino Live has announced plans for its Million Dollar Marathon, a 24-hour-long cash game with massive buy-ins, big players, and plenty of side game bets to keep the action flowing. It all kicks off on December 2 at 2:00pm PT on Hustler Casino Live

Alan Keating and Nik 'Airball' Arcot highlight the stacked lineup and, if history tells us anything, will likely drive the action as their rivalry reignites throughout the marathon session. Keating and Arcot will be joined by Sam 'Senor Tilt' Kiki, Peter Wang, Brandon Steven, Stanley Tang, Steve, and Jellyfish – with more names to come.

With the stakes set at $500/$1,000 with a $2,000 big blind ante, a $500,000 minimum buy-in, and at least two bullets per player, there will be no shortage of cash in play.

Serious side games

While the stakes are already well past the nosebleed level, the Million Dollar Marathon will have a number of side bets in play for its competitors to fight over.

The Squid Game – a variation of the popular Stand-up Game that forces players to fight for the right to return to their seats and avoid having to pay out the rest of the table – will run throughout the marathon. With each pot won, players earn themselves a button worth $2,000 and it's a progressive format, meaning each player can win multiple buttons in a round. If you're the last player without a button, you have to pay out the table. If you collect 4 or more buttons in a round, the price per button rises to $5,000.

Peter at the Million Dollar Game Million Dollar Games of the past have seen pots regularly blow past the seven-figure mark.

And there's more. If you get a bluff through, you earn a button. If you hero call correctly, you earn a button. If you win a hand with a in your hand, you earn a button. If you simply stay at the table for 40 minutes straight, you earn a button – a clever ploy on behalf of the game runners that will hopefully keep the game running smoothly and avoid short-handed play.

Every two hours, the player who accrues the highest number of buttons will earn themselves $10,000 from each player.

If we've learned anything from Hustler Casino Live's million-dollar buy-ins of the past, this will be a game you won't want to miss.
