Triton Poker’s slick livestream disappeared from YouTube on Monday and has yet to return.

The official word from Triton is that the YouTube stream is "currently down due to technical issues." However, the last YouTube link posted on its X channel may suggest a different cause.

YouTube has been on a crusade against poker over the past year, with many well-known faces getting strikes and big names like Daniel Negreanu complaining about issues on the channel.

Triton Poker's YouTube stream was taken down on Monday ahead of the finale in the $125K event won by Bernhard Binder for $2,137,953. Triton Poker's YouTube stream went down on Monday ahead of the finale of the $125K event.

It's bad timing for Triton. Its flagship $100K NLH Main Event started in Jeju on Tuesday, although there are alternative ways to watch the action. The livestream is still being broadcast on Kick, as well as on the Triton Poker Plus app and its Twitch channel.

This isn't the first time that the Triton stream has run into trouble with YouTube.

It was also removed during the high-stakes heads-up games between Alex Foxen and Ossi Ketola in September last year, depriving viewers of the then biggest hand in televised poker history – an $11M pot, lost by Foxen.

Stars out in force for the Main Event

If you did manage to catch the livestream, you'll have seen that 78 players made it through Day 1 in the Main Event from a total of 151 entries.

China's Xu Yang leads the way, and he's followed by a slew of superstars, with Nacho Barbero in second, Ren Lin in third, and then Kristen Foxen, Stephen Chidwick, and Bryn Kenney.

Foxen surged after eliminating Sergio Aido in a brutal hand that saw her river the nuts after Aido flopped two pair. You can watch that play out below. Don't feel too bad for the Spanish pro – he re-entered and ended the day in 12th.

That took her stack to 436K, and she then doubled up in a monster against Mario Mosböck.

Foxen raised preflop with and Mosböck called with . He had designs on the hand and raised a bet from Foxen on the flop. Bad timing, but he didn’t slow down.

He bet 100K on the turn and then emptied the clip on the river. That left him with just 35K, and he lost those chips to Bryn Kenney the very next hand.

Elsewhere, WSOP Paradise Super Main Event winner Bernhard Binder is looking for a remarkable double after winning the $125K event on Monday for $2,137,953. He ended Day 1 with an average stack, along with Dan 'Jungleman' Cates and Jean-Noel Thorel. Adrian Mateos, Jason Koon, Jesse Lonis, Ike Haxton, and Seth Davies are still in contention.

You can watch Day 2 of the $100K NLH Main Event on Wednesday – on Twitch, Kick, the Triton Poker Plus app... and possibly YouTube.
