An upcoming World Series of Poker Circuit stop has been removed from the schedule to avoid potential conflict with an already crowded December poker lineup.

The series, which was set to take place from December 4–16 at Planet Hollywood's new poker room, is no longer listed on the WSOP schedule. The cancelation will avoid a clash with the third year of an ongoing battle for players between WPT World Championship and WSOP Paradise.

Players gathered for the first Shuffle Up and Deal at Planet Hollywood. The new PH Poker Room opened its doors in May, but a Circuit return will have to wait.

Try again next year

The WSOP confirms that the series will be rescheduled, but no new dates have been announced yet.

PH Poker Room opened up in May and the WSOPC stop was to be its first since 2019. The December dates ultimately clashed with the World Poker Tour's World Championship at Wynn from December 2–22 and WSOP Paradise, which runs in The Bahamas from December 4–18.

WSOP threw down the gauntlet earlier this year with the announcement of a $60M guarantee for its Super Main Event in The Bahamas, as well as a WSOP Circuit Championship with $5,000 trips for its ring winners. The ongoing promotion thins out the player pool for any concurrent Circuit stop in Las Vegas, so we will now wait for a better spot.
