The tone is now set for what will be two full weeks of daily livestreams from the Brazilian Series of Poker, with Martin Kabrhel leading the first batch of headlines after an unlikely come from behind victory in the $50,000 Super High Roller on Tuesday night.

Kabrhel entered heads-up play against Ottomar Ladva with both players duking it out for the top prize of $422,000. The two were relatively even in chips until Kabrhel missed a flush draw that left him with nearly a 15-to-1 chip deficit, setting up the unlikely comeback.

The Czech poker star fought his way back into it with successive doubles and a wave of momentum that left Ladva staggering to count second-place money.

Meanwhile, Kabrhel picked up another big win in 2025, a year that has been all Martin with bracelet victories at both WSOP Vegas and WSOP Europe.

Another loud win in a watershed 2025 for Martin Kabrhel. Another loud win in a watershed 2025 for Martin Kabrhel.

More Super High Roller winners

Elsewhere in São Paulo, Joao Simao beat 113 entries in the $10,000 Super High Roller Invitation for a big shiny BSOP SHR Series trophy. The Brazilian star is a mainstay at BSOP events, and he has been one of the tour's most vocal supporters. Simao pulled away in five-handed play and eventually beat a sticky Ivan Luca in heads-up play to win $256,000.

Also taking one down in the Super High Roller Series was Mehdi Chaoui, who has been on a tear of his own lately. The Moroccan picked up two wins in Jeju last month before he made his first trip to Brazil for the BSOP. Chaoui ponied up $20,000 with the field of 56 entries and won $315,000 for first place.

Chaoui beat out a final table that also included the aforementioned Luca, who finished fourth for another six-figure cash. Japanese vlogging sensation Masato Yokosawa also made a final table appearance, finishing eighth.

BSOP Millions now continues with plenty more livestreamed action to come on BSOP English, with Brian Rast, Jeff Gross, and Maria Ho standing by for 14 days of broadcasts through November 29
