PokerStars has revealed the dates and a preliminary schedule of events for the 2024 edition of its North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas stop, which will be held November 1-10 at Resorts World Las Vegas.
PokerStars promises that its return to Resorts World LV will be "bigger and better than ever before," and will one-up the very popular 2023 debut of the NAPT Vegas series at Resorts World, which is just off the Vegas Strip. Living up to the 'bigger' part of the promise, the 2024 Main Event has seen its buy-in more than trebled, from $1,650 last year up to $5,300.
The announcement of NAPT Las Vegas's November return includes a headliner five-event slate, with buy-ins ranging from $550 to $25,000, the latter for the first of two high-roller events to be offered at Resorts World. The five events already confirmed for the November series are as follows:
- NAPT Mystery Bounty: November 1-4 - $550
- NAPT Super High Roller: November 4-6 - $25,000
- NAPT Main Event: November 5-10 - $5,300
- NAPT High Roller: November 8-10 - $10,300
- NAPT Cup: November 8-10 - $550
Satties to feed into stop's Main Event
A full supporting schedule of events, including satellites, will be offered. Details on those satellites as well as online channels to live-event seats will be detailed at a later date. Many of the satellites, both live and online, will feed directly into the NAPT Las Vegas $5,300 Main Event, which begins on November 5.
Steve 'Chops' Preiss, the Vice President of PokerStars North America, said, “Last year, the NAPT smashed all expectations, so this year, we’re going even bigger. With a premier partner like Resorts World Las Vegas, we’re stepping up our game: bigger tournaments, buy-ins, and player-focused events.”
Resorts World Las Vegas's Director of Poker Operations, Leon Wheeler, added: “Resorts World Las Vegas is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of PokerStars and the NAPT this November. After last year's tremendous success, we are eager to capitalize on that momentum and host an even more spectacular festival in 2024.”
