Negreanu pops straight flush at his latest WSOP final table

Daniel Negreanu is chasing his eighth WSOP bracelet in the $25K High Roller PLO/NLH combo, and a big hand has taken him off the short stack and into contention. 

The seven-time WSOP champ entered the final table as one of the short stacks, with everyone chasing chip leader Juha Helppi. Yang Wang busted in ninth place, leaving Negreanu at the bottom. 

Negreanu soon vaulted up the counts after a big pot against Eelis Parssinen. Check out the raw video above for the full show

Straight flush for Negreanu

Parssinen had raised from the button with and Negreanu called in the big blind with . The flop was and both players checked to fill out the turn with

Negreanu fired 225K with his turned straight flush, and Parssinen called with his full house. The river was the and Negreanu fired another 300K.

Action continues with eight players left and Negreanu trying to find more of a foothold as the blinds continue to climb. 

This is Negreanu's second final table of the summer after a similar run in the $600 version of this event.
