With coverage of the World Series of Poker back on ESPN in the US this summer, hopes are high for the game’s premier live tournament series to reach an even larger audience.
And now, with news that another international deal has been struck between the WSOP and Warner Bros. Discovery, poker fans across much of the rest of the world can look forward to watching along too.
The three-year partnership will see action from the WSOP Main Event broadcast on Eurosport in Asia and Europe, where further highlights will also be available on demand via HBO Max.
Viewers in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch on TNT Sports, with the Space channel showing WSOP action in Latin America.
Live coverage or highlights?
All coverage will be produced by Omaha Productions, the same company behind the programming on ESPN, but the format will differ depending on where you’re watching from.
- In Latin America the Space channel will show daily 15-minute highlight packages throughout the Main Event.
- Eurosport and TNT Sport will broadcast the final table live in Europe, with Eurosport also bringing the action live to viewers in Asia.
- The same broadcasters will also screen six 45-minute highlights packages, with viewers in Europe also able to watch on-demand at HBO Max.
The first programming under the new deal will be available once the 2026 WSOP Main Event begins on July 2.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with Warner Bros. Discovery to showcase the world's biggest prize-money competition to mainstream audiences worldwide,” said WSOP CEO Ty Stewart, announcing the deal. “Together, we are firmly putting the 'World' back in the World Series of Poker."
