Allen Kessler won his second TORSE event of March on Sunday night at the WSOP Circuit stop in Las Vegas, his fifth title on the traveling poker tour.

Kessler grabbed another kind of ring in the $400 TORSE event at the RGPS stop in Atlantic City before he flew back to Vegas to join the Circuit series at Horseshoe. He would go on to make the final table of the $600 TORSE with a big pile of chips before closing out the win just before dinner on Sunday.

Kessler dropped his victory stack on X after the win. Kessler dropped his victory stack on X after the win.

Wild TORSEs

The event was a well-attended one, all things considered, as 119 entries went in for the relatively new mixed TORSE event that includes 2-7 triple draw, Omaha, Razz, Stud, and Stud8. A tweaked format of HORSE swaps out the hold'em for triple draw and Kessler has been a proponent since day one

The TORSE title is Kessler's fifth WSOP Circuit ring dating back to 2007 when he won his first in a $550 NLH event at Caesars Palace.

Champ interviews champ

Ari Engel had the honor of conducting a winner's interview while Kessler was presented with his WSOP Circuit ring, which the five-time Circuit champ immediately dropped

"Whoa!" Kessler said as he picked up the hardware. "Ring number five. Only about 15 behind you."

Engel shook off the spotlight and turned it back on Kessler.

"What does it feel like to win the most prestigious title in all of poker, Allen?"

An expected answer.

"I don't know, I've done it four other times so it's not a big deal."
