Night 3 of the Super High Roller Bowl Cash Game seemed like it was going to be a relatively mellow evening, especially with Alan Keating and Senor Tilt out of the picture. The money was big and the players were gambling, but no one was throwing indiscriminate fireworks around.

But that's not how the PokerGO Studio usually works, and we weren't going to get out of the third evening of something called the Super High Roller Bowl without a huge pot.

On Wednesday night it was Eric Wasserson doing the wheeling and dealing, and he was one of the early chip stack leaders with just over $1,000,000 at the time of the incident. The results may contrast with how often he voluntarily put money in the pot (78%), but sometimes it's just your night.

Most of the rest of the table was worse for wear throughout the night. Evan Sofen lost $198K, Sameh Elamawy gave back $208K after his Night 1 win, and Nacho Barbero stopped by to fill a seat and contribute $191K in losses. Other players like Andrew Pacheco and late arriving Jason Koon recorded small losses.

Wasserson's main rival, Andrew Robl, would lose it all in the aforementioned incident.

Snap-called by aces

The carnage started with a raised to $16,000 from Wasserson, who had on the button. Robl would paint a target and fire $80,000 back, not knowing what was in store for his . Wasserson sent back $200,000 and Robl jammed $851,800 to a snap call.

"What just happened?" Brent Hank asked.

They ran it twice and the first board blazed through with . The second was and Robl hit the bricks.

"Out of nowhere," Hanks said. "King Robl has been stacked."

The show would land safely a short time later and in the end there were only two profitable players: Justin Gavri and Wasserson. Gavri won $455K and Wasserson $1.7M.

The PokerGO Studio will be back next month with the PGT Mixed Games Series, where they've already announced four of the livestream events. Check out tonight's full livestream:
