Jonathan Little of Poker Coaching has sponsored one seat in the current season of Poker After Dark. In conjunction with PokerGO, Little is running a raffle. The winner will have their $5,000 buy-in paid for. You can enter from the relevant PokerGO News page.
"Playing on Poker After Dark was awesome," Little said of his appearances on the show. "Getting to play with some of the best players in the world with the poker world watching on PokerGO is an exciting experience."
The raffle is a pretty simple one, in exchange for adding yourself to the Poker Coaching mailing list, you get one ticket to the event. Further ticketing "points" can be won by subscribing to Poker Coaching's various social media, watching Youtube videos, and referring friends to the raffle.
In the process of earning points, you can also unlock a couple of free ebook loss-leaders from Poker Coaching. It's all pretty nakedly a marketing scheme for Little's business, but it will be well worth the spam for whoever ends up getting to play in the PokerGO studio at the Aria on Little's dime.
Time is running out if you want in. PokerGO News tweeted that it is now the "Last chance to win a $5,000 seat on Poker After Dark w/ @JonathanLittle."
Poker coaching after dark
Poker After Dark pits six players against each other in a winner-takes-all sit 'n' go. First place is $30,000. Second place isn't even a set of steak knives.
Little will have a chance to win his $5k back, as he will be competing in the same episode as his sponsee.
Little bigged-up the show's tourney format in an interview with PokerGO, saying: "sit-n-gos are [his] favorite poker format because they force you to be a well-rounded player. If you do not know how to play well at a full table, a short table, and heads-up, you will be at a big disadvantage in them."
Poker Coaching on the other hand is more or less exactly what it says on the tin.
Little describes the company as being " the training site I wish I had as a novice poker player. [...] Unlike most training sites that only offer pre-recorded videos, PokerCoaching.com has interactive quizzes, live webinars, private streams where you can interact with our world-class coaches in real-time, game theory optimal charts in an easy-to-use app, and in-depth courses that cover every aspect of the game."
This overstates the difference between Little's business and other poker coaching sites, but you get the gist. The comp closes today, so get your entries in soonest.
