PokerStars announces full schedule for Womens Winter Festival

PokerStars' upcoming Womens Winter Festival, set to run for four days at London's Hippodrome Casino in late November, has now had its full schedule released. Anchored by the festival's £400 Main Event with £100,000 in prize money already guaranteed, the festival promises to draw hundreds of poker's best female players to the famed London venue.

PokerStars first announced the Womens Winter Festival during the World Series of Poker at a reception with newly-signed brand ambassador Kerryjane Craigie. However, beyond the Main Event's guarantee and the promise of a '50/50' event featuring female/male teams, few other details were offered. 

All the details have now dropped for the festival, which will take place November 21-24, 2024, including starting dates and times for all events and the addition of a special women's 'Closer' freeroll with an EPT Prague Women's Event Package added.

Three starting flights for Main Event

The first two days of action at the Hippodrome are all about the £400 Main Event. The opening day offers the first of three starting flights, plus a low-priced £40 qualifier tourney with five Main Event seats added. Friday's Day 2 of the festival includes two more starting flights. The live action, of course, is complemented by the wide availability of online qualifiers on PokerStars.

Saturday's Day 3 action includes the Main Event's Day 2, along with the special '50/50' event, a £220 no-limit hold'em freezeout for two-player teams – one female and one male per team. Sunday's Day 4 includes the Main Event's finale and two other events: a £220 NLH single-re-entry tourney starts in the early afternoon, and the special Women's Closer Freeroll with the EPT Women's Event seat package in play starts at 6pm, helping to wrap up the action at the Hippodrome.
