PokerStars' Gold Passes are the pinnacle of the online operator’s online Power Path rewards system, worth over $10K and granting those in possession of such a prize access to a European Poker Tour (EPT) stop of their choice.

Seven of these passes have been set aside to be awarded during PokerStars’ new promotional season, which is taking inspiration from the EPT itself.

EPT Season runs online from Sunday, October 12 through to November 10, offering players in PokerStars’ shared liquidity markets the chance to bag big money and Gold Passes, as well as trophies for the winners of 9 special tournaments.

These events, known as ‘episodes’, will also award exclusive EPT merchandise to all players who make the final table. They are:

  • October 12: $109 Sunday Million Mystery Bounty, $1M GTD
  • October 19: $75 Sunday Special, $400K GTD
  • October 26: Super Sunday with buy-ins of $22, $109 and $1,050 ($125K, $1M and $300K GTD respectively)
  • November 9: EPT Season Finale, with buy-ins and guarantees per the Super Sunday.

A trophy will also be awarded in a $22 EPT Mystery Bounty Special on November 2, with $500K GTD, that will grant every entrant an All-in Shootout ticket and a chance to win one of three Gold Passes.

$700K in additional prizes

Challenges will take place throughout the month, awarding over $700K in Sunday Million and Power Path tickets, as well as an additional Gold Pass. Every player who completes each week’s challenge will be entered into an All-in Shootout for a chance to win.

Challenges will run during each week of EPT Season. Themed challenges will run during each week of EPT Season.

The challenges take their themes from some of the best-known stops on the EPT:

  • October 12-18: Paris Puzzles
  • October 19-25: Monte Carlo Puzzles
  • October 26 to November 1: Barcelona Puzzles
  • November 2-8: Prague Puzzles

Each week’s All-in Shootout will take place at 2am ET on the day following the end of the challenge. Players do not need to play, or be logged in, for a chance to win prizes in an All-in Shootout.

The season kicks off with a special Power Path Express tournament on October 12, with a $55 buy-in and $50K in Power Passes guaranteed. The winner and runner-up will receive Gold Passes, players finishing 3-7 will be awarded Silver Passes and 8-165 will win Bronze Passes.
