PokerStars has announced the return of the MicroMillions series, its popular low-stakes offering designed to give players with small budgets and bankrolls a chance to play a full series of affordably priced events.
The 2023 edition of the MicroMillions, the sixth edition of the series to date, is set to run on Stars' international (dot-com) platform July 2-16, 2023. The events are all priced between $1.10 and $55, the latter for the series' "high roller" offering. The entire series includes a whopping 208 events and more than $4 million in prize-pool payouts is guaranteed.
There are also plentiful satellite opportunities, meaning that players can win their way into many of the MicroMillions events for literally pennies.
PokerStars is billing the 2023 MicroMillions as "the most extensive, most prestigious online series for new and aspiring players hoping to build their bankrolls and capture a title." Each of the 208 event winners will also earn a MicroMillions winner badge that can proudly be displayed while playing on the tables.
The 2023 MicroMillions main event on July 16 features a $22 buy-in, and it alone carries a $500,000 prize-pool guarantee. There's also $20,000 in value-added satellites into the main, as well as two separate freerolls into the event that will each add another $20,000 worth of entries into the event.
The $55 high-roller carries a separate $250,000 prize-pool guarantee. And throughout the series, PokerStars will also offer "special edition" Spin & Gos that offer MicroMillions event tickets to winners.
