The debut of PokerStars' new North American Championship of Online Poker (NACOOP) series, being offered in US and Canadian markets where Stars is regulated and available, will be getting underway in a week's time. Now, the online giant has released the full schedule of events for the series, which includes three separate parts serving players in the US states of New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, along with the Canadian province of Ontario.

PokerStars has also released information on the Vegas Gold Pass and Red Spade Pass packages that will be awarded within the upcoming series.

Previously, PokerStars had announced the creation of the NACOOP to supercede the earlier USCOOP (United States Championship of Online Poker). The older USCOOP still exists, however, as one of three parts of the new NACOOP, being used as the framework for all "Shared Liquidity" events, meaning the combined New Jersey-Michigan market.

Stars also released details of some of the multi-faceted series' major aspects, including $7 million in guaranteed prizes across the three separate "COOP" series, which besides the USCOOP also include the PACOOP for Pennsylvania players and the ONCOOP for Ontarians. Earlier, Stars also teased that "more than 70" events would be offered in each of the three sub-COOP series.

315 'COOP' events all told

PokerStars will be offering 315 separate events across the three NACOOP series, it has now revealed. The two American series, USCOOP and PACOOP, will each include 89 separate events. Ontario's ONCOOP will have a signifiicantly larger slate, checking in at 137 separate events. Each of the three series begins September 15 and runs through October 2, 2023.

The 315 combined events will include at least 58 "Championship" tourneys. Twenty of those trophy events will take place in both the PACOOP and USCOOP series, and another 18 will be offered within the ONCOOP slate. One of each COOP's Championship trophy haul will be for each COOP's main event winner. Three more trophies, one per COOP series, will also be awarded to each series' overall leaderboard champions.

Vegas Gold Pass packages await

Newly revealed are the details of the three $20,300 Vegas Gold Packages to be awarded with the entirety of the NACOOP festival. In addition to the prize money and Championship trophy, the winners of each of the three ONCOOP, USCOOP, and PACOOP main events will also secure a Vegas Gold Pass. It's one of the first opportunies to win these passes, and each Vegas Gold Pass includes the following:
