It was after 11pm on Day 1 of Runner Runner when the video arrived. The Runner had been officially on the run for nearly 23 hours but likely free from any fear of being discovered. With less than an hour to go before midnight, the video dropped.
And it first blush, it appeared as though The Runner was leaving little to chance this early in the run. Only a hand appeared on camera. The shots were all very tight.
As I looked at it the first and second time, I thought, "Well, there's not a lot to work with here." Then I watched it again. And again. And again. Freeze frame after freeze frame. Google search after Google search. A fancy iPhone app. A few different online databases.
Put another way, there was a lot to work with that I didn't see the first time. The question is: who among you will see it, and what will you do once you do?
