The final table of the first $25,000 High Roller of the 2026 World Series of Poker is underway on the Main feature table of the WSOP mothership, with fans able to catch the action beginning at 5:30pm Vegas time on the WSOP YouTube channel.
Leading the way is Galen Hall, who finds himself in that position thanks to one of the biggest coolers of the summer so far, with ten players remaining on Day 3.
Hall was running neck and neck with Kristen Foxen, holding 13M chips (86bb) to Foxen’s 12M (80bb) at the time of the hand.
Hall’s opponent was German high roller Thomas Muehloecker, who had just been moved to Hall’s table to balance the final ten players. He entered the hand with 4.83M (32bb), which was fourth overall at the time.
He would leave with zero.
One crazy heater
Blinds were 100K / 150K / 150K as Hall raised to 350K in the cutoff with , and Muehloecker called in the small blind with
.
The flop came , giving each player a set. Muehloecker checked, and Hall continued for 150K. Muehloecker check-raised to 800,000. Prompting commentator Ali Nejad to suggest it was time to begin eulogizing Muehloecker’s chips.
Hall just called, and the turn changed nothing. Muehloecker used a time bank before betting 1.15M, leaving 2.5M behind. Hall again just called.
The river gave both players full houses and essentially sealed the German’s fate. Muehloecker used two more time banks before betting 1.85M, leaving 680K behind. Hall used a time bank of his own before moving all in, with Muehloecker quickly calling off his final chips.
“That’s f***in’ crazy. I’m just on the biggest f***in’ heater I’ve ever been on.” Hall told his friends on the rail immediately after the hand.
The pot launched Hall up to 18.14M (120bb) for a lead that he would hold until night’s end, finishing atop the final six with 16.1M (53bb) while Foxen is second with 9.3M (31bb).
Can the heater continue?
We spoke to Hall before play began today to ask him if he was ready to continue that heater today and on to a second bracelet and the $1,773,083 first prize.
“I hope so. I’ve gotten to where I am just by running hot, and I’m fully prepared to get in the streets and fight it out to the end if that’s what it takes, which is what it usually does. I wouldn’t say know to the heater continuing, winning a few more all-ins, and having it be easy.”
Play resumes at 150K/300K (300K) and will continue until a champion is crowned. You can watch the final table on the WSOP YouTube channel.
