Twitter (or X, sorry Elon) has always brought out the worst in certain people. It can be a place for brilliant debate but all too often, that debate can quickly turn toxic

It's also a place where the poker community goes to kick off every couple of months with spats exploding out of nowhere, burning bright, and then disappearing just as quickly.

Poker YouTuber PokerfaceAsh, aka Ashley Frank, has hit her limit.

She put out a tweet on Monday that looked to turn Poker Twitter positive, at least for Christmas.

"I’m beyond sick of the negativity on 'Poker Twitter' - it’s simultaneously hilariously pathetic & sad AF," she posted. "Poker players: Tell me a positive, inspiring poker story below."

That's something we can get behind at Christmas.

PokerOrg Player Advisory Board member Conrad Simpson kicked things off with the story of how he changed his life and ended up in Las Vegas with the Only Friends crew.

Here are a selection of other positive posts from poker players to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Ask the Org

We're all too aware of how toxic Twitter can get and to counter it we've launched a new discussion platform called Ask the Org. It's a platform for healthy debate, where you can converse with fellow players (and the occasional superstar) about the things that are important to you.

Anyone can read Ask the Org and it's free to sign up to join the debate, which is guaranteed to be free of the negativity that drags Poker Twitter down into the gutter.
