Daniel Negreanu hasn't had the best run at the 2025 WSOP Paradise.

With more than $400,000 in losses through the end of Day 10, Negreanu's time in the sun isn't going to plan. While he managed to cash in two of the Triton events, multiple bullets in other events – including 10 entries into the $25K Super Main Event – have cut away at any potential profit.

Throughout his tough run, Negreanu has managed to keep his emotions in check, for the most part. On Day 10, however, he took a brutal beat in Event #13: $50,000 PLO High Roller, and the floodgates opened. It all kicks off in the video above at the 5:00 minute mark – and Negreanu's unadulterated emotional reaction makes this hand a perfect choice for our Hand of the Week.

Daniel Negreanu Daniel Negreanu vented on his daily vlog after a brutal beat in the $50K PLO High Roller.

Negreanu: 'I can't believe I'm out'

The clip starts with Negreanu's bustout hand against Artur Martirosian, where he's a 60% favorite on the flop. He doesn't hold, and he steps away from the table to vent about the hand that really hurt.

"Okay, I gotta tell you about this hand that I lost. I'm so tilted," Negreanu says from behind the camera.

"Jesus, my goodness. Oh my god, oh my god. Like, oh my god. Oh my god," Negreanu continues as he walks away from the felt to explain.

"I can't believe I'm out. What the hell? Holy smokes, man, this f**king hand," he says.

"This hand is so ridiculously stupid," he continues. "We're like four out of the money the money, three out of the money, two out of the money," he rants. "What the f**k? How am I out? I'm f**king furious right now."

In the hand, Negreanu kicks off the action with a raise to 50K at the 10K/20K/20K level with before Martin Kabrhel tries to raise himself. With Negreanu's raise already out there, Kabrhel is forced to just call, allowing Charles Hook to come along from the big blind with – what Negreanu calls "one of the worst hands you could possibly have."

Charles Hook laid a bad beat on Daniel Negreanu in the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller. Charles Hook laid a bad beat on Daniel Negreanu in the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller.

Negreanu Hooked from the $50K PLO

The flop provides Negreanu with top and bottom pair, plus the nut flush draw. When he bets 60K, Kabrhel flees the scene, but Hook makes the call.

"He calls because he's got the jack-high flush draw. We've got him dead. He's just dead. Dead. Tens and deuces, he only has one overcard to the board, which is the jack."

Hook's call brings in the turn. Negreanu bets, and Hook calls once again. On the river, Negreanu's draws brick out and the action goes check, check.

"He has jacks and deuces. We're like near the bubble, the hand is so bad," Negreanu mutters to the camera. "What are you doing? I mean, I'm glad you called because it's like really good for me, but... how the hell does it come a jack?"

"That's like such an incredibly bad beat on that flop," he concludes.

To make things worse for Negreanu, Hook went on to win the event and claim his first-ever WSOP bracelet.
