The World Series of Poker has published complete results for two bracelet events that began in June on the WSOP.com three-state (MI/NV/NJ) online platform, where play was suspended once the final table was set before resuming and playing to a winner on Sunday at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. Both of these hybrid online/live events were high-roller, no-limit hold'em affairs, and both wins were captured by international pros who have also been busy participating in live WSOP events this summer.
In Online Event #9, as it was officially designated, Greece's most accomplished player, Georgios Sotiropoulos (pictured), added to his legacy by claiming the win in the $3,200 NL Hold'em High Roller. Sotiropoulos earned $224,418 in an event that began on June 18 and was then frozen for more than three weeks before its live finale on Sunday.
And in Online Event #14, $5,300 NL Hold'em High Roller 8-Max, Austria's Roland Rokita earned his first career bracelet and $278,713 by besting a star-loaded final table. This event began on June 29 and was on hiatus for two weeks before its live conclusion on Sunday.
