Event #18: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold’em is down to ten players out of the 23,088 field. The final table will be streamed by PokerGO today. Before all the final table action gets underway let’s take a look at some of the interesting stories of the ten players who have managed to make it through all of the carnage.

As expected with any Brazilian player, Caio de Lucca Sobral will have one of the most supportive rails at the final table. He has just over $30,000 in career earnings and currently lives in Florida. He will be looking to add to Brazil’s very successful WSOP thus far which includes a bracelet from Rafael Reis and a runner-up finish by Felipe Ramos.

Eric Trexler was the chip leader heading into the day and has gathered himself an impressive rail to compete with the Brazilians. One member of his rail shouted out “I flew in today just for you Trexler” (perhaps in jest) as he walked in to join it. Trexler is from Bremerton, WA and has only two small cashes on his WSOP profile so far, meaning that this is a huge first onto the scene for him.

The “Boss with the Sauce” is Wade Wallace who was accumulated a rail of his family and friends with matching shirts that all have the phrase “The Boss with the Sauce”. “They call him the boss. He is from our small hometown of Blufton, Indiana” explained one member of the rail. Wallace has just one recorded cash on his poker resume in a WSOP daily deep stack in 2022.

Kfir Nahum has one of the most impressive resumes of the remaining players with over a million in career earnings, which includes a deep run 61st place finish from the 2017 WSOP Main Event.

Bohdan Slyvinskyi who hails from Chicago now but is originally from Ukraine has over $200,000 in career earnings.

WSOP circuit ring winner Jason Simon from St. Louis has support from people watching back home as one of his buddies has already declared it over.
