As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Sadly, Season 15 of High Stakes Poker falls squarely under the category of "all good things."

Through the prior 15 episodes, we've seen sick coolers, massive pots, and lineups with big-name stars. In the season finale, however, the cameras captured an entirely unique moment: 'The Beast' was unleashed.

In the previous episode, the wine was flowing – mostly, into Justin Gavri's stomach. The finale was more of the same and Gavri's alter ego ('La Bestia' as he is known in the Spanish-speaking corners of the world) emerged from within to run rampant over the table.

Andrew Robl takes on 'The Beast'

As the final notes of the show's classic theme song faded out, commentator AJ Benza set the scene: "Gavri's got his wine. 'The Beast' is appearing."

"Yeah, Gavri's not in the game right now. 'The Beast' is, however," Nick Schulman agreed.

With only $65,200 in front of him, 'The Beast' was ready to gamble. And gamble he did, as time and time again he put his chips on the line with somewhat speculative holdings. When he lost, and he lost just about every time, 'The Beast' simply refreshed his stack with reinforcements from the well – just as he did with the wine in his comically-large glass.

While the first of his gambles paid off – his ran down Andrew Robl's on two runouts to scoop a pot of more than $200,000 – he ran seriously afoul of the deck when he and Robl decided to "flip for bricks."

If there's one guy at the table you shouldn't flip against, it's Robl. 'The Beast' had to be taught that lesson the hard way, and more than once.

Nik Airball 'The Beast' wasn't in pure wild-man gamble mode – he ran a well-executed bluff to scoop a small one off of Nik 'Airball' Arcot.

With two $50,000 rubber-banded stacks of cash in the middle, plus the blinds and ante, the two players revealed one card each.

Robl:
'The Beast':

The flop was all Robl, but 'The Beast' was far from drawing dead. The turn and river completed the board and a discussion of who would show first broke out.

"Let me see the other one, I'm drawing against it," 'The Beast' said.

Robl relented and rolled over his . 'The Beast' needed to peel a king, four, or nine to scoop the pot and he squeezed the card to build the suspense. It was a paint card for an added sweat, but the didn't help in any way.

"I'm the luckiest guy on the season!" Robl exclaimed as he held the two bricks of cash aloft and took to his feet. "Boom! I'm back."

'You're just a vacuum, man'

After an ill-timed four-bet bluff with that cost him $40,000, 'The Beast' wanted to flip again. Robl obliged.

This time, they shared a card.

'The Beast':

The runout didn't hit either player's revealed card, but when the squeezing commenced, Robl rolled over the for a pair while 'The Beast' was left with the for squadoosh.

"I'm the luckiest guy of the season," Robl sang to the table as he danced about and collected another $50,000.

"You're just a vacuum, man," said Jon Isaac.

High Stakes Poker/Andrew Robl It was all smiles for Andrew Robl as he won flip after flip against 'The Beast'.

For the next flip, they juiced the stakes to $80,000 a man – again showing a lone card before the runout. Robl's wasn't looking great against 'The Beast's' , but, then again, does it really matter who's ahead before the runout?

In this instance, it did not as the board ran down to leave Robl with, at the very least, a pair. 'The Beast' demanded to reveal Robl's side card first after squeezing his own, claiming that he couldn't even beat a pair of sixes. Robl was skeptical, but relented and rolled over the . After a brief funeral for his hand, 'The Beast' showed the for just king-high.

"Bro, how many flips do I have to do with the guy? I can't win one," he bemoaned to the heavens, blissfully unaware that he was the architect of his own demise.

After losing a more standard flip – his against Isaac's – 'The Beast' took one last swing for the fences in a $100,000 flip with Robl.

This time, the players revealed both cards before the runout.

With more $200,000 in the middle, the flop paired both players.

"OCHO! Let's fucking go!" 'The Beast' exclaimed, just happy to have made a pair.

As the table rushed to point out that he was behind, he beat them to the punch: "I know, I'm aware. I'm aware. We're gonna peel two pair."

The turn changed nothing and the river completed the final board of High Stakes Poker Season 15.

"Okay, good," 'The Beast' said. "Good game, everybody, that was really fun. Thank you all, I had so much fun."
