The Big Game on Tour returns this weekend for the second half of its ten-episode slate. Earlier this summer, the first five episodes aired first on Fox Sports on Friday evenings and then the following morning on the PokerStars YouTube channel. The second batch of episodes (6-10) will follow that same release schedule.
Heat 1 of the show's revival saw Loose Cannon Nikki Limo take on Lex Veldhuis, Alan Keating, Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Tilly, and Arden Cho. With opponents of that caliber surrounding her, Limo was up against it.
We won't spoil the ending here — where's the fun in that? Instead, check out the first episode on the PokerStars YouTube channel and go from there. You won't be disappointed.
Heat 2 brings the... heat
This time around, The Big Game on Tour introduces audiences to a brand new lineup of players and a new Loose Cannon: Lily Newhouse.
Newhouse joins poker professionals Sam Grafton, Maria Ho, and Phil Laak, plus comedian/actor Michael Ian Black and entrepreneur Dave Krosky.
As always, Joe Stapleton and James Hartigan are in the booth for commentary, providing their trademark wit to the show's revival.
In the first episode, it doesn't take long at all for the table to heat up as Black and Ho tangle in a set-over-set cooler within the first orbit of play. With over $100,000 in the middle, the cooler sets the tone for an action-packed episode that sees multiple big pots trade hands.
Again, we don't want to spoil the the episode, but this is one you really don't want to miss.
Additionally, a bonus episode will premiere on YouTube which highlights the audition process for Big Game on Tour.
The brand new episode 6 of The Big Game on Tour airs Friday, July 27 at 9pm PT on FS1. It will be released on the PokerStars YouTube channel globally on Saturday.
