Poker continues to make its return to Sin City, despite concerns over the coronavirus
Residents of Las Vegas will have another option to play live poker as of tomorrow. Sahara Las Vegas has confirmed that it is reopening its renovated poker room, which had its grand opening this past February. This is great news for all players because the poker room will offer a game chart that includes No-Limit Texas Hold’em, Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, 7-card Stud and several other mixed games.
Sahara will join South Point, The Orleans and The Venetian as gambling venues currently offering poker services. Sahara's poker room offers several tables separated by a 16-by-nine-foot LED video wall, as well as five additional screens located across the room. The poker service will be available from 6 PM to 2 AM every day, and tables will be limited to five players - as per orders of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Something worth adding about this poker room is that players will be requested to reserve their seats online beforehand.
In addition to that, this gambling venue located on The Strip has introduced a new idea for a table reservation system that can help with the social distancing measures. For blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables, there are group reservations available through the company's "Take a Seat" program. This system allows players to book tables with up to 72 hours in advance, and they can do so online. This tool is meant for groups that are traveling together to Sin City and want to play together on the same live game. More games are to be included in the near future.
