Three names have been leaked for the new season of High Stakes Poker, and PokerGO host Brent Hanks thinks “it could go down as the greatest season in the history of the show.”
Talking while commentating on the latest event from the Super High Roller Series in Cyprus, Hanks dropped the three names that would be on anyone’s dream lineup.
“We start filming a brand new season of High Stakes Poker this week,” Hanks said. “And of all the years helping to assemble these games, the roster we're bringing in for this new season of High Stakes Poker that we are about to start filming, I think it could go down as the greatest season in the history of the show. And I'm not bullshitting you. It's ridiculous."
Hanks couldn't help himself any further and the details came pouring out.
'Imagine the table talk'
“Can I give a spoiler? I'm going to say three names that are going to be a part of High Stakes Poker, playing together. All five days of filming will be unique, with lots of different sets of names. But here are the three names: Jared Bleznick, Scott Seiver, Phil Hellmuth. Together. And there are going to be four others with them, but imagine the table talk, the antics with those three, Bleznick, Seiver, and Hellmuth.”
Hellmuth previously appeared on four different seasons of High Stakes Poker, starting with the first one in 2006. He later returned for seasons four, six, and eight, with his most recent appearance in 2021. Both Seiver and Bleznick have yet to appear on the show.
Seiver was an opponent of Hellmuth's in the third season of High Stakes Duel in 2022 when he replaced Tom Dwan in Round 4. Hellmuth won that match before he went on to lose to Jason Koon in the next round. Meanwhile, Bleznick has also spent some time under Hellmuth's skin — most recently down the stretch in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship at this summer's WSOP when he battered the Poker Brat with table talk.
Season 13 of High Stakes Poker is showing exclusively on PokerGO right now. Episode 4 featured a huge clash between Jennifer Tilly and Andrew Robl.
