It was a star-studded lineup on the latest episode of PokerGO's No Gamble, No Future, headlined by Phil Hellmuth alongside Hollywood superstar Jennifer Tilly, First Things First host Nick Wright, H3 podcaster Ethan Klein, and PokerStars Ambassador Joe Stapleton. Daniel 'DrDadPoker' Schill, Taylor Wilson, and Rips rounded out the rest of the table with the stakes set at $25/$25 ($25).

While the early goings started well for Hellmuth, it didn't take long for the train to veer off track.

Flipping for $24K

It started with a flurry of action around the table and ended in a flip for $24,025. The 'Poker Brat' kicked off the action, raising to $150. Wright, next to act with made the call before Rips fired a three-bet to $425 from the small blind with . After a moment of confusion, Klein ditched his in the big blind. Wilson cold-called from the straddle with and, with the action back on him, Hellmuth instantly uttered the magic words: all-in for $11,700.

Wright sent his cards back to the dealer, but Rips wasn't so quick to relinquish his pair. Hellmuth's insta-shove didn't sit right with Rips.

"It was so snappy, too," he pointed out. "He couldn't even wait for the action."

"When you move in quick like this it looks like you have ace-king, right?" Hellmuth asked with a grin. "It looks that way."

No Gamble No Future Rips Rips embraced the show's title in a $24,025 flip with Phil Hellmuth.

"I do kind of feel like gambling," Rips said.

"If you call with a sub-standard hand and crack his hand, we'll all benefit," Tilly chimed.

Whether he felt his hand best or simply wanted to gamble with one of the game's greats, Rips made the call to put Hellmuth's stack at risk.

Hellmuth keeps his cool... for now

Wilson folded behind and both players agreed to run it twice. Rips' pair held up across the first runout as the board came down . The second runout brought a king in the window and an ace behind it as Hellmuth improved to top two pair. Unfortunately for him, the final card on the flop left him drawing thin as the board came down

Hellmuth could only smile as the table erupted.

"I will say this," he began as the turn changed nothing. "I don't play in games very often where they've put in hundreds of big blinds against me with sevens."

Hellmuth bricked out on the river and quickly requested a $10,000 rebuy. With that, the game had life and the potential for a vintage Hellmuth blow-up grew significantly.
