French tops Flaghunter Leaderboard
There's one leaderboard that's particularly interesting to us at PokerOrg: the Flaghunter, which tracks the number of countries each player has earned a cash in. While the tally varies depending on source, there are roughly 195 countries across the globe. Dominick French, leading the way with 67 countries cashed in, has made the money in nearly 35% of the recognized world.
The Canadian's globetrotting has seen him rack up $687,254 in career tournament earnings – and many more air travel miles to boot. In the last three months alone, French has notched scores in Thailand, The Phillippines, Serbia, Albania, and Iceland. If you scroll further down his profile, you'll see cashes in Paraguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, Morocco, and Senegal – and that's just in 2025 alone.
In 2024, French cashed in a poker tournament in 48 unique countries. That's a rate of nearly one country per week. French's globe-spanning year saw him wrestle the top spot on the leaderboard away from Scotland's Andrew Leathem.
There are a number of notable poker players in the Flaghunter Leaderboard Top 100. Steve O'Dwyer sits in 15th place with 29 countries crossed off the list – just a few ahead of Dominik Nitsche (27) and Ignacio 'Nacho' Barbero (26).
The Hendon Mob founder himself, Barny Boatman, sits in 27th place with 24 countries under his belt. 2025 WSOP Main Event fourth-place finisher Kenny Hallaert has cashed in 23 countries, only one more than 43rd-ranking Stephen Chidwick.
