With one series down and a second heating up, the back half of the 2025 WSOP Circuit schedule is about to kick into high gear for one of its busiest stretches ever.
The recent WSOPC Choctaw series was a huge success, the just-underway WSOPC Cherokee series promises to add to its legend, and now it’s time to get the West Coast in on the fun with an eagerly anticipated return to Graton Resort and Casino.
Located in Rohnert Park, California, near the heart of the region’s famous wine country, Graton is quickly becoming one of the hottest and most popular new stops on the tour.
What’s in store
Running from Thursday, August 14th to Monday, August 25th, the 11-day series will feature 18 rings awarded, highlighted by a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event from August 22nd to 25th.
The series will see plenty of other marquee events, including the $400 Monster Stack that has a $150,000 guarantee, a $600 multi-flight event with a $250,000 guarantee, and the always popular $300 Great-ton of Chips tournament with a $50,000 guarantee.
Mixed game players will get their fill of action between the 19th and 21st, with $400 H.O.R.S.E., Big O, and Omaha 8 or Better events scheduled.
There will also be a $400 Ladies Event and a pair of Seniors offerings at $250 and $400 buy-ins.
Can they top this finish?
Graton’s most recent series in February provided one of the most epic final days in WSOP Circuit history, with not only the two biggest prizes of the series awarded, but a pair of double ring winners crowned as well!
The day started with Alex Lipkin topping an outstanding final table to claim the Main Event title and its $162,560 first prize. Lipkin defeated Michael Lin heads-up after outlasting other West Coast crushers such as Marco Johnson (third), Brett Murray (fourth), and Antonio Ma (sixth), who all fell just short.
That Main Event saw its $500,000 guarantee crushed thanks to 558 entries to build a prize pool of $845,370, and a repeat of that could very well happen again at this series.
Soon after that final table wrapped up, Thomas Sherman took down the $3,250 High Roller event for $46,064, besting an elite field of 45 entries. That event is also back on the schedule with a $3,300 buy-in this time.

Wine country, you say?
This edition of the WSOP Circuit will no doubt have plenty of excitement as well, but along with the incredible poker, Graton Resort and Casino and its surrounding areas are among some of the absolute best places you can visit for a poker tournament series.
The property itself is one of the most luxurious on the Circuit, with incredibly comfortable guest rooms, outstanding restaurants for every culinary taste, a world-class spa where you can pamper yourself and relax, and an outdoor pool and hot tub within steps of the tournament hall.
Oh, and did we mention that Graton is just a short drive from California wine country?!
Both Napa and Sonoma are within an hour drive, as is the vibrant city of San Francisco, so if a day away from the tables is to your liking, there are more than enough options to enjoy.
One of PokerOrg’s newest reporters will be on the ground for us there, as Jim Murray makes his debut at Graton. He’ll be bringing you all the action from the first ‘shuffle up and deal’ until the final pot is pushed.
Join us then for all the excitement of the WSOP Circuit from Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, California.
