2024 is nearly over but there's one massive final table to be decided first, as six players return to Wynn Las Vegas to play for the $3.1 million first prize. All six are guaranteed $665,000 but there's only one trophy. Eddie Pak leads the way and Ryan Yu is the short stack, but Chris Moorman brings the star power and he starts with the second-biggest stack. Action kicks off at 4pm Vegas time with the live stream on a one-hour delay starting at 5pm. You can watch it here along with the biggest moments from behind the scenes at the Wynn. All updates will honor the stream delay.

Scott Stewart wins 2024 WPT World Championship ($2,563,900)

And it's over! Scott Stewart has done it.

Stewart moved all-in with and Sherwood thought for a while with his before committing the rest of his very short stack.

The board ran out and Stewart's rail joined him for a wild celebration that we imagine will go on through the night.

  • Scott Stewart: $2,563,900
  • Rob Sherwood: $2,200,000

Massive double for Stewart, Sherwood on fumes

Wow. This one has left Stewart within touching distance of the title.

It was kings for Stewart and he raised it up to 9M. Sherwood looked down at sixes and just ripped it in. Stewart snapped him off.

This was for nearly all of it – and Stewart wouldn't have had these chips if it wasn't for the bluff in the previous update.

Board:

  • Robert Sherwood - 6,800,000
  • Scott Stewart - 232,400,000

Stewart gets a big one through

  • Blinds: 1.5M/3M (3M)
  • 2 players remaining

Stewart raised to 7M preflop with and Sherwood came along for the ride with .

The flop brought a check from Sherwood and a bet of 4M from Stewart that Sherwood called. Both players checked the turn to see the drop on the river. Sherwood bet out 20M and Stewart moved all-in. Sherwood thought it over and then folded, bringing the stacks back to near parity again.

  • Robert Sherwood - 129,000,000
  • Scott Stewart - 110,200,000

Stewart down to 10 big blinds

The first hand back from the break saw Sherwood extend his chip lead further and drop Stewart into the danger zone.

Stewart limped with and Sherwood checked his to the flop.

Sherwood checked, Stewart bet 3M and Sherwood called.

The turn left Stewart drawing dead. Sherwood bet 8M and Stewart called.

The turn completed the perfect runout for Sherwood and he managed to get another bet of 18M called, leaving Stewart with just 10 big blinds.

  • Robert Sherwood - 204,000,000
  • Scott Stewart -35,200,000
