Titans of poker

The biggest live poker tournament of all time is still the WSOP's Big 50 event from 2019, which was a $500 buy-in with a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million.

It ended with an astonishing 28,371 entries, which created a total prize pool of $13,509,435. Femi Fashakin won the bracelet and the $1,147,499 first prize.

Last year's $300 Gladiators of Poker event got 24,629 entries, and was won by Ian Pelz who took home $420,680.

In the last three years, the Mystery Millions at the WSOP has been a $1,000 buy-in.

The 2025 edition was the largest, attracting 19,654 entries, but the reduction in buy-in to $550 helped the 2026 tournament comfortably surpass that mark.
