One week after Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro signed onto the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, WSOP Online officially became the first platform to combine four states into their player pool.
Pennsylvania joins WSOP Online's previously established liquidity between Michigan, Nevada and New Jersey, making the platform the first to expand to four connected states.
“The addition of the Pennsylvania player pool to WSOP Online comes at the perfect time, and we’re ready to give avid poker players in The Keystone State the opportunity to raise the stakes on their poker play,” said Danielle Barille, Vice President of Online Poker at Caesars Entertainment.
Pennsylvania joins ahead of a bigger online WSOP
In tandem with the announcement of Pennsylvania officially joining the WSOP Online player pool, the full WSOP online bracelet schedule for the summer was also rolled out. In total, there will be 30 online WSOP bracelets awarded this summer, including four tournaments with seven-figure prize pool guarantees.
On July 6, Event 22 – a $1,000 buy-in Mystery Bounty Championship – will feature a $1.5 million guarantee. Three other online mystery bounty events – Event 2 ($555 buy-in, June 1), Event 7 ($250 buy-in, multiple flights starting June 1) and Event 13 ($500 buy-in) will each carry a $1 million guarantee.
Event 20 ($555 PLO mystery bounty, July 3) and Event 28 ($400 6-Max mystery bounty, July 13) will each have $500,000 guarantees.
130 WSOP bracelets up for grabs this summer
The 30-event online schedule, which runs from May 31 through July 15, will run in parallel to the live poker version of the WSOP. Five of the online tournaments – Events 11, 16, 18, 26 and 29 – will have final tables that play out in person at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
The online offerings will be in addition to the 100 live WSOP bracelet events on offer between May 27 and July 16.
WSOP Online players will also have a multitude of opportunities to win their way into live events throughout the summer. In addition to a wide variety of satellites and super satellites with buy-ins as low as $1, there will be multiple $215 buy-in satellites to the 2025 WSOP Main Event that will award a minimum of 25 seats on June 30 and July 1.
