Connecticut's Dylan DeStefano has won the first World Series of Poker bracelet of his career, taking down Event #8 of the 2024 WSOP Online domestic series, $3,200 NL Hold'em High Roller 6-Max. DeStefano snared the largest payday of his WSOP career, $110,925, while surviving a ferocious final two tables filled with prior bracelet winners and other notables.
DeStefano had to outlast two of those prominent pros, Chris Hunichen and Chris Moorman, to seal the victory. 'Big Huni' finished as the runner-up, collecting $79,050, while Chris Moorman busted in third to earn $61,200. Prior bracelet winner Aneris Adomkevicius placed fifth, and Daniel 'Kid Poker' Negreanu made the six-player final table but busted in sixth.
Finishers seven through 12 were formidable as well, with Max Schindler, Maria Konnikova, Ryan Riess, Nick Schulman, Nick Funaro, and Aram Zobian all posting strong results. DeStefano, who also won a PGT title in January, topped the 24 players who made the money in this event.

Matthew Davis tops PLO 6-Max
In Event #9, $500 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Max, Michigan's Matthew Davis also became a first-time bracelet winner, triumphing over a 363-entry field to collect the event's $31,445.03 winner's payday. Davis, playing as 'The_founder', bested William 'EndBoss444' Meeks for the title, leaving Meeks to settle for a second-place cash of $23,277.37. Third place and $17,560.12 went to two-time Circuit ring winner, David 'Grogu.' DiBernardi. Seven-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu logged his second-straight sixth-place finish in this series.
Event #9 drew 190 unique players who collectively contributed another 173 re-entries to what ended up as a $163,350 prize pool. The final 48 players cashed in this event.

Eskenazi claims MonsterStack gold
In Event #10, $600 NLH MonsterStack, Washington State's Scott 'merrick' Eskenazi became the thrid consecutive first-time bracelet winner of the series. Eskenazi earned the second-largest cash of his WSOP career in claiming the bracelet, emerging from a 554-entry field for the title and a $54,500.28 score.
Eskenazi outdueled four-time bracelet winner Ben 'RamzaBeoulve' Yu for the victory, with Yu earning $39,937.86 as the runner-up. Daniel 'NoScams' Maor finished third for $29,412.72. Event #10's 554 entries consisted of 322 unique entries, who combined for another 212 re-entries, producing a $288,360 prize pool.
