The World Series of Poker is leveling up its fast-growing WSOP Paradise series with a move down the island coast to a new home at Baha Mar in The Bahamas.
WSOP Paradise has all of the momentum as the winter's biggest poker series and the new venue is suited to accommodate that growth with more space and upgraded accommodations. Last year's flagship Super Main Event drew 2,891 entries to Atlantis, where Bernhard Binder claimed the $10M top prize.
Newer, bigger, better
Atlantis, which hosted Paradise in 2024 and 2025, is the long time home of large poker festivals in The Bahamas dating back to the first land-based PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in 2005. The waterparks and resort amenities had been a draw for players who could bring their family along for the trip, but WSOP Paradise has outgrown the resort.
The new digs at Baha Mar can more than accommodate the next stage of WSOP Paradise with pools, a golf course, and what is already the largest casino in the Caribbean. It's also newer, brighter, and a little bit easier to get around than the sprawling Atlantis complex. Baha Mar previously played host to the PCA in 2023 to rave reviews from players, so it's not uncharted territory.
That's all we know for now. Expect 15 or more bracelets with a handful of nosebleed high rollers. You can also mark your calendar for the season-ending WSOP Circuit Championship and win your way there throughout the year with a title on the national tour. WSOP Paradise will be bigger than ever a year after they threw down a $60 million guarantee for the $25K Super Main. That event ended up with a prize pool of $72 million, so logic might dictate an uptick to $75 million. But what about $80 million? It's a round looking number and they seem to enjoy a challenge.
