The World Series of Poker's International Circuit will put a new pin on the map later this year when the tour visits the island of Malta for the first time from September 25 through October 12.

The festival will offer 12 international Circuit rings with the usual WSOPC Main Event, all at Casino Malta in St. Julian's. Also up for grabs are a pile of $5,000 packages to WSOP Paradise, where ring winners earn a seat in the end-of-season WSOP Circuit Championship.

Playground Montreal Malta joins a growing WSOP International schedule that includes three stops in Montreal.

'A new standard'

“As the first-ever WSOP Circuit stop in Malta, this partnership is a major milestone for live poker in the region," said Gregory Chochon, WSOP's Chief Operating Officer. "Hosting the series at Casino Malta combines a premier destination with the strength of the WSOP brand. Our goal is simple: to deliver a world-class event and set a new standard on the European poker calendar.”

The brand-new Malta stop joins a robust international WSOP Circuit schedule that will spend this week in Liechtenstein before stops in Amsterdam, France, Cyprus, Estonia, and Montreal, where the tour will visit three times in 2026.

Also on tap for the WSOP this spring is the debut of its European edition in Prague. WSOP Europe will spend two weeks in the Czech capital from March 31 through April 12, capped off by a €10 million Main Event.

The full schedule for WSOPC Malta will be released in the future. In the mean time, check out the rest of the WSOP Circuit schedule for 2026.
