The summer schedule for Las Vegas poker is starting to take shape with the announcement of the return of the Wynn Summer Classic, a mega series at the world-class resort from May 21–July 14.
Wynn's annual summer series will feature over $40 million in guarantees, headlined by the $10,400 Wynn Summer Championship — a Main Event with four starting flights and a $10,000,000 guarantee from June 26 through July 2. Several other seven-figure guarantees fill out the crowded schedule, which will feature buy-ins as low as $600 and satellites into major events for $300.
Millions in guarantees all summer
The first $1.5 million guarantee kicks off on May 25 with a $1,100 buy-in and six starting flights spread over three days. Shortly after, the $1,600 Seniors 50+ event will start on May 30 and carry a $1,000,000 prize pool and three opening flights.
The beginning of June brings another $1.5 million guarantee, this time a $1,100 buy-in with three opening flights on June 2–4. It's quickly followed by a $2.5 million, $1,600 buy-in tournament that starts on June 9 with six opening flights. June action continues with a $3 million Mystery Bounty with a $2,200 buy-in on June 15 and a $4 million guarantee with a $3,500 buy-in on June 22. The $600 Ladies Event will also kick off on June 22.
