The second episode of No Gamble, No Future hit the airwaves this week, bringing viewers another installment of $200/$400 no-limit hold'em cash game action featuring Andrew Robl, Garrett Adelstein, Jon Isaac, Justin Gavri, Kirk Brown, Shawn Madden, Darin Feinstein, and Taylor 'Lightning' Wilson.
In the Season 7 debut, Robl drove the action – declaring war on Feinstein and gambling big with a straight flush draw against Brown. Robl's willingness to battle paid off in a major way and, at the start of Episode 2, he had $1.3M in front of him. While he wasn't in the mix quite as often this week, Robl managed to steal the show once again with a wild over-bet bluff at the episode's close.
When Robl declares war, he means it – and this hand displayed his fearlessness on the felt as he put Feinstein to a test for all his money.
A casual 3x over-bet jam
Feinstein entered the pot first, limping in from the button with and Isaac did the same with
in the small blind. Robl peeled
in the big blind and wasted no time in raising to $5,000. Feinstein called almost as quickly as Robl raised and Isaac came along as well – getting a decent price to set mine.
With $15,400 in the middle, the dealer spread the flop and Robl fired another $5,000 with his gutshot straight draw. Feinstein called quickly with his top pair and, after a few moments of deliberation, Isaac called as well with his underpair to the board. On the
turn, Robl kept his foot on the gas with a bet of $20,000. Feinstein wasn't as quick to call this time around, but eventually threw the chips into the middle while Isaac cleared out of the way.
On the river, Robl was left with just queen-high and only one way to win the pot: by bluffing. With $70,400 in the pot and $220,000 in Feinstein's stack, Robl went massive with a bet for all of it – more than three times the amount in the middle. Feinstein didn't like it and immediately exposed his
to the table.
"Show me a king, Robl," Feinstein said before sending his cards into the muck.
"Do you want to see it?" Robl asked as he tossed his cards to Feinstein. "You don't want to see it."
Feinstein looked anyway and, to his credit, took the bluff in his stride.
