A new gaming conference has launched as the planet deals with the Covid-19 pandemic. It aims to examine the current state of affairs of the sports betting and casino industry in North America.

Aptly titled Sports Betting & Casino Summit North America, the inaugural edition is scheduled to take place on June 23rd and 24th. The event will be virtual in format, however there are plans for a live conference in 2021.

The virtual edition of the conference aims to assemble regulators, operators, marketing managers, suppliers, policymakers, and C-Level Executives under one virtual roof for two days of networking and online learning.

The conference is extremely timely, with the main topics covering the restart of the gambling industry in the United States and Canada. Both online and land-based initiatives will be covered. The conference will help identify both the significant challenges and immense opportunities that the market can offer.

“We are launching Sports Betting & Casino Summit North America in order to bring our boutique-style format to the region and also encourage quality learning and networking possibilities. Our plans included this expansion in 2021, however, due to the current situation, we are offered a unique opportunity to prove ourselves in the region. We are also keen to plan some live conferences in the U.S. and Canada, starting next year”, stated Zoltán Tűndik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at Hipther Agency, the company behind the conference.

A number of gambling conferences have switched to virtual formats since the pandemic began. But with an appetite for knowledge among so many industry professionals, virtual conferences are doing a good job of filling the gap.
