The Poker Brat has decided to give up his country club home on the outskirts of Vegas
Perhaps $420,000 doesn't sound like an impossible amount to pay for a house owned by a poker celebrity. That's how much the 15-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth is asking for a house he’s selling in Las Vegas. The house is located in the gated Las Vegas County Club, and the popular Poker Brat is taking the offer first to social media before making an official listing.
In the past, ESPN made a piece about Hellmuth's life and his daily routine, which was done at that house. The dwelling has three bedrooms, a pool, a two-car garage and a large driveway, and covers 1,672 square feet. It is located right near a golf course in the country club, and is also close to the Las Vegas Strip, so it sounds ideal for poker players who enjoy live games in Las Vegas.
"I'm selling my house in Las Vegas," tweeted Hellmuth. "It's in the Las Vegas Country Club: 2909 Bel Air Drive. I'm having an old friend, Karina Jett, sell it for me. Before we list it on MLS, I thought I would give social media a shot. Reach out to Karina if you're interested: $430,000," What is interesting is that the house can be found on an online listing for $325,000, which is over $100,000 less than what Hellmuth is asking for through his social media account. So, anyone who wants to buy the house off Twitter needs to take into account an extra payment of $100,000.
